I just bought the Audio Auxilliary Input for my car (2004 330Ci Convertible) it usually costs $39 but I had to pay $200 since I have the navigation system. Anyone else with the same problem?

This is deja-vu all over again.....

We have already heard this one!!!!! I think it was Rufless Philly although I haven't seen him post on here in a long while.

I think the cable part is the same or nearly the same....however the labor charge is different (lots more for nav) because you have to remove the entire display assembly to get to the plug where the thing connects.

If I am correct, that would explain the cost difference. Confirm with your dealer. You are hosed either way.

You're correct, BMWROCKS. Although my dealer threw the option in as part of the sale, the due-bill did show $280 labor. It was a pain in the ass to get them to do it right too. They claimed there were no instructions shipped with the part, so I had to find the instructions here and take them to the dealer. Weird, eh? Anyway, now that I've got it I'm really REALLY happy with it.

O.k. I just picked my car up from the dealer. They charged me total of $156 including labor. It works perfect. I dont think you need an instruction manual for this... just one RCA plug to another RCA plug and that is it..........Now I can listen to MP3s while driving....
