Yes it is possible but your talking needing the clutch pedal assembly under the dash, all the componets under the car, a hole in the firewall, etc and maybe some electronics.
It could be done but you'd be spending a LOT more money, vs just selling it and getting a manual of the same year/make, honestly.
There 'are' paddle kits you can get for steptronics - it add's 'SMG' paddles to your car so you can shift up top. It's not SMG by far, but gives you a little more 'control' of the shifting I suppose. A few local guys here have done the kit, and they give it in their opinions.
