Aux Input Not Available with Nav?

All:

I just got a call from my dealer. The Aux Audio input part from BMW only has an 18" lead on it.

Cars equiped with Nav have the radio tuner in the trunk of the car. The lead from the adapter won't reach from the trunk to the glovebox.

Is there another part... or something else i can try in order to get the Aux Audio input in my glovebox?

yeah... I found that... and instructed my dealer...

seriously... I'm telling these guys how do everything... I'm more then a little concerned.

I have aux input with nav and it's awesome I have my iPOD hooked up and it sounds just as good as a CD.
