Back glass fogging up!

It the first cool night here I parked my car outside at a place and when I came back the back glass was fogged up. when I started the defrost function the other windows fogged up. What is up with that? Dose anyone know why this is going on. Is there moisture being trapped near the back glass.

For some reason, your back glass is a different temp than the others. Happens sometimes. Not just on a BMW either. I generally just blast the a/c or both defrost buttons until it clears up. If you need it to clear quickly, blasting cold air seems to clear up the windows faster for me than blasting hot air.

when you defrost yer windows, make sure you turn on the ac also. sounds idiotic since defrost is usually run warm to hot, but the issue here is moisture, so. turning on the ac helps because that's exactly what the ac does: it gets rid of the moisture.
