There were -- no exaggeration -- 25 bird bombs on my hood!
In the past, I usually hose them off and no worries.
But these were toxic, and 4 of them actually etched into the
paint/clear coat!
I broke out the 'scratch and swirl' remover and the etching
came out a little, but not entirely.
Is modern paint technology unable to prevent damage from
acidic bird droppings?
I had seen posts here from others about nasty bird droppings,
but for me they usually came off with no damage...
Guess it depends on the bird, or what it ate...
