Hey Krafty isnt the grill already black on the 04 .
I was just wondering cause my 330ci grill is black , but I heard someone say its come with titanium grill for 04...

I have a 2004 330ci w/ sport package and my grille is titanium...I think they all are except for the 325 models w/ sport package I think...Can you put a picture of your black grille up please.

not sure of the color of the grill for 04.. don't laugh, never seen one, newest BMW I've seen is a 97. Kinda stuck on this island...almost two years now. Heard the new grills are black with titanium ring.

Why not just paint them black? As long as you do a good job prepping thwy should last. Mine is holding up for almost a year now.

Have you had any problems with chipping? Did you coat the paint with any sealant? How about any paint flaking? This sounds like a very cost efficient, quick, and easy-to-do project.

Try to remove the chrome off the grill by sanding it really well. Then prime, a few coats of paint, then finish with clear coat. Or you can just take them to a body shop and paint it black. Shouldn't be that much eaither.
