What do 2005 ZHP Have?

Are you saying ALL 2005 ZHP have Bluetooth? I have the buttons on the steering wheel, but I don't think I have it . . . I have a late 06/05 (production date) 330Cic zhp. How would I know?

Tony, check your owner's manual packet for a card with a Bluetooth passkey. I believe it's bundled with the ZPP (Premium Package), not sure about the ZHP. My ZPP didn't mention it on the window sticker or the owner's manual book, but had the card, and it indeed has BT (I'm using it with a Moto E815).

Hi All. I am new to this site as well as a new BMW owner. I purchased a 2004 M3 two weeks ago and it is awesome. I too am not sure if I have bluetooth. I have the white 5x7 passkey card with my manuals. There is a PN#, ESN3 and MIN #. I tried to pair my bluetooth cell phone but was unsuccsessfull. The dealer also had no luck??? They said BT could be added for around $1,200.00!

Any ideas?

I know from past posts that 3 series coupes/verts (but ???M3) built after March 2004 w/ premium package/assist probably have a BT module and probably the BT antenna. The antenna would be under the rear ashtray; see prior posts with instructions/pictures. I had to install the pairing button. Sounds like 05's go into pairing mode with the key in ACC; you may want to try this if your car was built after March. Have your phone in find me mode and turn the key to ACC; see if the radio display a found BT phone message and go from there. For your 04 M3 you may need to have someone find the specific BMW memos that may shed light on what you have.

I bought the ULF module (removed the Assist module that also had a BT logo/passkey ##), pairing button and (not needed) antenna from Advanced Autovations; it's available elsewhere, too for a total of about $500. The pairing button wasn't hard to install, but it could be different under the M3 console to dig out the wire packet to attach it to.
