BMW Sport Steering wheel

I ordered a 2004 330i without the sport package. Is it possible for me to order a Sport steering wheel and replace the one i have without voiding the warranty or full maintenence? Can dealers order them ?

Yep they have em but it's relatively pricey to do that because they sell the airbag unit separately. I am thinking of doing that with my X3 since I totally regret not ordering one with the sport package.

you can get the steering wheel on www.circleBMW.com but u need to search aroudn and find it cuz i used to know where it was but forgot, i think the total price was $399

If you're gonna replace teh steering wheel, just order the ///M one while you're at it. The sport one looks nicer than the regular one, but it doesn't feel or look as nice as the ///M one. Dealer can order it and install it. It's not a big deal. It's just that since you're playing with the airbag, I wouldn't suggest you DIY in case it blows up on you.

What about sport seats can i do the same with those?

Yeah, you can probably change the seats out as well, to the bolstered sport seats. You really should have just gotten the Sport Package, though.

yeah your right but it was my father whose buying me the car. The steering wheel and the seats are going to be out of my pocket.

If your car isn't in production yet, it might be possible to change your order to add the sport package - check with the dealer ASAP.

The price difference in changing the seats AND the steering wheel is FAR, FAR beyond what the Sports Package costs. The steering wheel alone is like 2/3rds the price of the SP. See if you can change your order and add the SP. It's just not cost effective to add that stuff on later.

I tried to add the sports package after 5% of the car was built, and no go.
