BMW's quality build has just saved my ass, or the dumbasses that ran into me...depending on how you look at it. Within the past month, some old lady in a p.o.s. mustang backed up into me, even though I honked like hell when i saw that she was getting close...she didn't even look back. Being the first time I was in an accident with my car, I thought for sure I'd have at least some dents, scratches, and or dings. Turns out it didn't even make a mark on the front of my car. I didn't even see any marks on the bumper!
As if that weren't enough, about a week ago I was on a ramp when some lady in a geo prism "thought I went" and proceeded to rear end me on the ramp. This time there were faint marks on the bumper, but you can hardly see them. Again, nothing major. Big ups to the BMW engineers for dummy proof bumpers, well at least dummy resistent bumpers!

, on the cell phone charging toward me. I put my foot hard on the break, rested my head against the head rest and braced myself. He slammed on his brakes when he realised I was stopped....oh that horrible screaching noise...then BAM he slammed into me. We both pulled over, and OMG...not a scratch, dent, bump on my bumper.
