I took delivery a few days ago, and yes I am in driving heaven !!

Just a quick note:

bmwusa.com was accurate to the day.....for me anyways, I had heard several complaints - which I am certain are true - that they are way behind, but in "My case" the site was dead on accurate, I also tracked the vessel and was in touch with my dealer.

Picks are coming - Zaino products are in route & I do not want to touch the beautiful finish untill I am properly prepared. The vehicle is a 2004 Black/Natural Convertible.

Glad to hear bmwusa.com was accurate for you. During my order-to-delivery period (late May to early August), I encountered two problems: 1) the list of ordered options was wrong, but corrected with an email from me; and 2) the status updates were about one week behind. In general, I was pleased with the info the site provided, as well with the fact it exists for their clients. Congrats and enjoy your new ride.

On the BMW website regarding order tracking, my car shows the correct interior and exterior colors, but no options are listed. I'm pretty sure my dealer ordered everything correctly, so I assume it's just a web oversight. Is it common to show no options? I would be more concerned if the wrong ones were showing, but still... The car is supposed to be fully loaded.

My tracking experience was fairly decent as the vehicle was listed exactly as I ordered it (comforting at the time). The stages were fairly accurate also, lagging a couple of days behind the info from my dealer.

The end was funny though as I was driving the car for 2 days when the status finally changed to "At preparation center".

The end went very quickly for my car as it came off the boat and was at my BMW Center in less than a week.
