Boot Lid handle fell off!

mmmmm...boot lid handle partially fell off when opening boot! Seems the clips have brocken....has this happened to anyone? Is this a new handle, or can the internal clips be replaced?

I think what he means by "Boot" is trunk. I'm pretty sure boot is the term for trunk in Australia as well as England.

Yup, boot = trunk. Trunk handle, that plastic, painted, handle that sits above the number plate....

It's held by two bolts, I believe. I had one broken on my car. If the plastic holding the bolts breaks, you're pretty much screwed. Unless you want to fiddle with a "home brew" fix for it, you'll need a new piece.

They replaced the whole piece under warranty for me, no questions asked.
