I just replaced the rear pads on my '01 330cic, but of course the light is still on.

Unlike most response I've seen here, I actually want to have the sensor tell me when the pads are getting low. . .but how do I either reset the system or put a new sensor in? If the former, is that something the stealership has to do? And if the latter, any idea if there are any aftermarket sensors I can pick up and install?

Other than that, this was honestly the easiest brake job I've ever done. . .and I've always done my own brakes on every car I've owned.

The sensor is around $15 - $17 as I recall. If you replaced the pads yourself you can easily do the sensor. You must have seen it - it slides into the pad. The other end wanders up under the suspension to a plug connector inside a protective housing.
