a few weeks ago, i parked my car into my garage and it turns out it didnt clear the door. i figured i was leaving in a few minutes so i didnt fix it and left the door open. later, my mom decided to close the garage door and ended up scratching my bumper trim. i finally got the new trim, but i was wondering how to remove it to replace it with the new one.

Sketch,
Since I'm a formaer body man, I coul dnot help but notice the orange peel on the deck lid under an dto the left the the plate, has that car been painted before or is that factory BMW black paint? Mine is silver, but paint is flawlessly smooth and clear all the way around.
Just curious?

to MY knowledge, the car has never been re-painted, however i have a story about my cars body paint. when my dad purchased the car, he requested bmw to permaplate the car. when we got the car back (in certain light) you can see swirl marks. so we made a complain and asked them to fix it. it took 3 tries, and we gave up. it wasnt noticeable unless in certain angles in direct sunlight, and we figured it was good enough. my girlfriends dad used to be a detailer and said that who ever did the wax used a buffer incorrectly on the car.
ill try to get a picture of it when the light is right, but it might take a while (it been starting to get cloudy around here)
