No, a front clip from an E46 or E36 will not fit in any way shape or form. The E30 body is too different from the E36 and E46. The engine in the later cars is also slanted more than the E30 engines for hood clearance. The E30 ix bodywork is also slightly different than a standard E30 for clearance purposes due to all wheel drive. It is difficult enough to use an E30 M3 setup.

Im guessing by "front clip" you mean the whole bumper/valance assembly. It would fit if it wasnt 4" too wide. Cut it down, bend the sides in, custom mould a top peice to the bumper so it will come in to meet your grille (unless you want a 1.25" gap at the center right under the kidneys) and it should fit. Oh, yeah. You will need to fabricate a custom mount too.

If it fit an E36 then it is in no way a true E46M3 BMW front clip, unless someone did all the modifications I listed above.

If you really want the E46 M3 look get the Reiger peice, although it looks like ass because Reiger did all the mods I listed above when they made thiers.

Don't do it. There are lots of nice E30 body kits out there. Don't try to make your E30 look like something it is not. Appreciate it for what it is. And don't even think about putting an M-badge on it, unless you transplant an M-engine.

holy nonpunctuated grammar we now have a contestant for the longest single sentence in the world without the use of a single point of punctuation i believe that it is the longest example of this commonly used method of typing that is used mainly to make my head hurt that i have ever seen [joke]

You're obviously not jewish. I am not either, but the point is that the Torah is written without punctuation.

As for the grammar issues, I have been holding my tongue for some time. I don't want to see this site disintegrate into a grammar-war, but it is evident that an english refresher-course is necessary for some people.

It was meant to be facetious. I Don't feel that good right now and I feel better when I am a wise-@ss.
Of course it was. As previously mentioned, I disarm sarcasm by falling for it and forcing the sarcastic to explain they really didn't mean it. LOL.

A good motto to live by for those who appreciate a sarcastic wit: "The better I know someone the more deeply I insult them." (Yours Truly)

(Edit-props for using facetious correctly and knowing how to spell it! One of my favorite words.)

Apparently he is not talking a true front clip. A front clip in the body repair business would include a lot more than the bumper and valence. A front clip includes fenders etc.

A spell check option would be useful on the postings also. It would help us lousy typists immensely. I know my mind moves a lot faster than my fingers on a keyboard.

rip325i is correct. A "front clip" is the entire front end less the hood, in most cases. First I would not put it on my E30. And I agree with the others that it would take major work to fit an E36 front clip to an E30.

programing that into the forum software would be way too impossible... just type your reply into MS Word or something, spell check it there, then cut & paste it into the reply box

bimmubishi... i really friggin hope you were kidding when you said it would fit... if not... well... i'll hold my tongue this time

I’m Jewish, and the Torah is not written to be spoken, it is written to be understood. The torah can only be read by people who understand the language or else without the punctuation, people not very familiar with the language would be confused. It is a very complicated language. I also think they left out punctuation to torture poor 13 year old kids forced to do a bar or bat mitzvah. [bash] [chair] [hatchet]

Also about the spell check, do what I do, I type it all in word and paste it into the forum.

k stop with the grammer bullshit im a mechanic not an english teacher and im not an autobody guy . and by front clip i meant just the front bumper, i think i have read maybe 2 posts that pertain to my problem. thanks for all the bickering... NOT[?|] [bash] anyway it is an e36 front bumper from racing dynamics that is a mock up or replica of an e36 m3 front bumper. and i was wondering how much work it would take im sure im going to half to make brackets, but for ,1, the front BUMPER is free so that is the main reason why i want to make it work, cuz if it does i can jsut get a rear bumper and im set so please elaborate more and no more grammar wars i dont need a post full of crap [hatchet] [bmwkick] [clap]
]

and i do love the e30 to death but i think it would be awsome to be unique and have an e36 m3 front clip cuz face it they jsut look cool [hihi]
