Campaign 391

While looking over some other posts I found an interesting link about the Rod Bearing replacement campaign on M3s. In looking at the BMW Service instructions (just out of interest) I saw in the last steps that they instruct the dealer to put a round label on the B pillar and mark the number of the campaign on it. In this case it was 422.

I noticed a similar label on my car just yesterday. It is marked 391. I assume this means there was some sort of service campaign on my car before I got it last month.

Does anyone know of a link I can go to to find out what this was all about?

I have a 2004 325xiT (E46 with an M54 engine).

you should be able to call the dealership and they would know right when they brought it up on their computers...
