Can you add Sirius to 03 e46 with Nav?

Does anyone know if you can add the factory Sirius Satellite radio installation to a 2003 e46 with Navigation? The car does not have BMW Assist or the shark fin antenna.

I am sure I could add the aftermarket module, but I want that clean factory look in the cabin.

From what I understand, you need to have an e46 produced after 11/03 if you want a Nav/Sirius combo.

It's something to do with the version of software on the Nav itself.

I may be wrong though... keep hoping!
