1.9% is probubly only for dealer cars on the lot only that are 2004 model, to help move them since the 2005 are coming in.

Can you get more horsepower out of a 325i? Also I see the Dealerships are offering 1.9% financing. I wonder what the catch is?

Sure, free flow air intake...modified exaughst...change in chip management...I think somebody has a supercharger or turbo charger...AC Schitzner or somebody? I'm not sure, maybe only the 2.8 or 3.0 liter. Who knows.

Dinan sells a kit that boosts the hp from 184 to 195 on the 325. It concsits mostly of software plus a cold air intake kit and perhaps a muffler change ( not sure about that). As for the 1.9%, yes you can get that rate on a 2001 used cars (CPO)- at least you could a month ago which is how I bought mine.

If you don't have the car yet and you already want more power, I think it would be a good idea to take a closer look at the 330i.

But yes, the 325i has plenty of aftermarket options, the most cost-effective being air intake, exhaust, and chip.

Whoa, this was my 4,000th post....and I haven't been banned yet....good deal.

I'm near 3000 I think and it's even more amazing that I haven't been banned yet [80?]

There isn't much you can do to new 325i's. Older ones you could do a lot, like change cam profiles, but not any more.

I'm sure you've already seen this site, which includes the kit jbfog referenced...

I agree w/Mr. Elusive though, go 330i up front if you can...better engine, power seats, better wheels, better stereo, 6 speed manual vs. 5 speed...plus you'll never have that nagging feeling two years into ownership that you should have gotten the bigger engine.
