Cannot open trunk

Girlfriend borrowed my car to shot sporting clays yesterday. Started to rain so she threw all her stuff, shotgun, 2 shooting bags and purse in the trunk put the top up and drove away. Now we cannot open the trunk. When I turn the key to the left I her electric sounds trying to unlock but nothing else. ANy ideas waiting to her from the local dealer as well thanks

Can't blame the girlfriend need a new trunk actuator per the dealer so I ordered the part and will install later this week

Glad you found the problem, I hadn't thought of that.

For future reference the dealer opened the trunk with the bad servo by having one person unlock the drivers door with the key and while he was doing that the other person puched the button in on the trunk. I am guessing that the the servo worked a little and while the doors are unlocking you can open the trunk. Tried it later in the day and it does open the trunk. Thought others would appreciate a way to get in even though it takes two!
