ive got two questions.....

1) does anyone know how to take out the small storage area in a e46 3 series...its underneath the radio/climate control, and above the cigarete lighter area. (ill put a sketch up if need be)

2)i also need to know where a 12v ignition or accessory power source is. i need it to get power to tv's and FM-Modulator.

hope someone can help me.....i really need some help on the first one

Real easy…open the door and place a thumb up against each side. While applying pressure outward, pull toward yourself. No tools required. Not much space back there so I don’t think you can put much there.

Why the FM modulator, I have found these to be cumbersome and constantly in need of adjustment and subject to interference. I have a TV tuner and DVD player but chose the BMW auxiliary input which allows me to use an Ipod or other audio sources with great results.

For a power source I went right to the battery, make sure to have a fuse in line.

The cigarette lighter is a 12v power source. You can't get any closer....
