Does anyone else have this problem? Every time it rains I get a leak that starts in the backseat on the driver’s side. The leak is under the rug, and when there is a lot of rain the leak goes all the way up to the front of the car.

it sound as if you vapor barrier which keeps the water that enters inside your door out of the vehicle is leaking. very easy to replace. I may not be this but i have seen this problem before.

pretty sure it's the vapor seal. Had the same thing in my car. The dealer had to take out theseats and console and took out the carpet to dry it out. Try removing the interior door panel on the rear door and pour water on the outside window and watch the water come in.

Thanks Eddo. Couple of Questions? Where did your leak start? Mine starts under my drivers seat and flows to the drivers side back floor. How do you fix the Vapor seal?

You have to remove the door panel which is relativly simple. you could probably find some instructions on the net some where. when you do this make sure your door panel clips have little foam gaskets on them. remove the vapor barrier and all the sealant that is left on the door. go to any parts store and buy window ribbon seal ( i believe thats what is called i never pay attention) run that ribbon seal in the same place that the old one was ran. install the new vapor barrier. if your clip don't have the gaskets you will have to purchase new ones becasue you can't get just the gaskets. reinstall the door panel and you should be good to go. water leak test your work with a water hose. this shoudl take care of your problem.
