Hi All.
I've been an owner(2001 325I/premium/auto) and a member for about a year now and I must say that I really like my car when when it behaves as it should. I must also mention that although I love the car I'm a little disapointed with the quality level. I have some rattles in the car which are very annoying to say the least. The car has been in for service at least three times for some waranty issues and they ended up charging me to verify what I think is a defective tranny, but they claim otherwise, and to fix my seat belt which would not retract properly. They also charged me to fix some rattles that came back after a couple of days. What gives?
Now the latest and greatest problem which has me really disappoinetd is that I have just discoverd some rust on the inside of my hood on the left side right at the seam near the headligt. Anyone else have this occurence?
This brings me to my next question. Was wondering if anyone can run a carfax on my VIN. The hood doesn't seem to have been repainted (bought the car used) but I am a little suspiciuos now. If someone can run the report forme please PM me for my VIN.

By the way the forum is great. I have learned a great deal about BMW on this forum which has helped me with the constant battle with the stealerships.
