cars vs girls

I always wonder how much do you spend on car(s) (this includes lease payment, finance payment or depreciation cost, plus maintenance, insurace and everything else) and how much on girl(s) (this include gifts, entertainment, strippers) each years? I figured I spend about twice as much on my car than on girls.

Married with 1 kid=Cost: New BMW 7 Series and an X5 and an M3

geez, I see how marriage can cost a lot. But I was more curious about non-marital relationships with women, how much that costs. Like girlfriends if you are not married, mistresses if you are married. I can't even begin to imagine having a wife who will most definately control most of my finances and make 80% of purchasing decisions, and still complain about you not paying enough attention to her. all these sacrafices just so that men can have children... how unfair.

My wife makes as much $$$$ as I do, and at times even more than me. And no control issues, but attention is something everyone needs to work on.

Jeez I would like to have that kind of marriage........my x-marriage consisted of separate bank accounts, separate credit cards, paid him $800.00 a month allowance for house incidentals and I paid for everything for me including car, insurance, clothes, medical, maid, groceries, gas, all Christmas and birthdays for his kids and family, most of his clothes, half the bill for vacations and half of bill for all house repairs............

I cant wait to read the answers on this thread..............

I had a bad one when I was way too young. We were 21 & 22 and it lasted about a year. Both families were all for it, including her dad that was very well off and very supportive.

To make a long story short I was chewed up and spit out. I had no idea there was a problem. Went home one night and the locks were changed. Her dad told me if I ever needed anything to please give him a call that they always liked me but sometimes things don't work out..[???1]

To this day I still don't know what happened. She has been divorced 4 times at 35. I think her mom and dad just made life too easy for her and perhaps I did not have the cool factor she needed. Today I know it is the best thing she ever did for me.

Marriages aren't expensive, KIDS are expensive.
I remember reading somewhere that your first child will cost on average $250,000, with each subsequent child around $150,000.

I think I married the perfect woman though. Last month we were planning to go out to a big party, and I suggested "Perhaps you should buy a new dress?"

And she replied "No I have a black cocktail dress that will be fine."

(and she doesn't want kids either, heaven!)
