ok so i scanned my car out today at the shop, i have a weird code that bothers me, is is 0xd4 or (55) vvt jammed. is that varrieable valve train ? could this be the problem of power loss i am feeling at take off and floored at high speeds. im guessing this is a spool valve ( this is what it is called on like hondas v-tecs ) if i'm wrong in the name correct me, but it sits on the drivers side front of the head? if im wrong what could this code mean? i cant find anythign in all data or mitchelle on this code. i also have a 0x12 (18) kick down switch code, this could be the problem i was haveing with it feeling like it was in a high gear at take offs. any advise on these would be great. And has any one ever changed these vvt motors? are the difficult or as easy and a honda v-tec?
