Need some input and opinions. I'm planning to add gauge rings to my 325 and i can't decide between silver or chrome. Not a big deal but I thought I'd solicit feedback before I buy the rings and pull the gauges out. By the way, I'm relatively new here and you guys have really got me interested in mods! This will be my 4th DIY "mod", but the first three were pretty minor. If the rings go smoothly I'd like to step it up a bit. Thanks in advance. [wave]

Welcome to the forum. [:D]

I'd say go with the silver ones, but I don't know how either of them look. I'm just thinking that the chrome rings might stand out a little too much (since chrome falls under the "bling bling" category).

i'd go with silver, or stock ones if i were you, chrome would be too bling bling like mr elussive said, and the red and blue would make it look too "riced" out lol

I pick silver too. More subtle. If you decide to use super glue, make sure you let it dry for a day without putting the glass back on. Super glue gives off fumes that will fog up the glass and you have to buy a whole new gauge cluster to get that glass part.

jtravick, how do you like your xm/blitzsafe set-up? i installed it about three months ago and love it. my only complaint is that the character length is too short on the bmw head unit and it truncates the artist/song name.

also, where did you place the antenna?
