clear lenses?(when, where, how)

Whats the deal with clear lenses on 3 series( 01 330Ci in particular). What years came with them stock or with what package did they come with(on what yr)? Is there a way to use some sort of chemical to like dissolve the orange? Should i go OEM or aftermarket? How much? Where?

And by clear lenses im talking about clear/red taillights and clear turn signal.

They come included with the Ci Sport Packages, starting (I believe) with the 2002 models. Personally, for a mod this visible and where exact fitment is so important, I would get only OEM.

For an '01 Ci, you should be able to get these at a dealer. Circle, Pacific, and Cutter BMW are known to have the best prices for OEM stuff.

There are hundreds of places that sell clear corners online... would be much cheaper and better than modding it yourself.

u can still get 01 coupe/sedan clearouts for the car at the dealer (OEM) but i wanted to get OEM lights for my zhp 04 and i called my dealer and they said they don't do it for cars that are after 02 because of some legal issue w/e that means so that i would have to get it aftermarket. so i ordered mine from bekkers.com or u can order from bavauto but dont order from bimmian. but i think your best bet is to get the OEM lights from your dealer for your 330ci but then again i got aftermarket clearouts for my 330ci for cheaper and it looks just as nice
