Was looking at www.bavauto.com and found some pretty nice stuff. I'm not looking to do anything major, but I was thinking about purchasing the clear parking and tail light lenses for my car. Does anyone have these that could tell me if they're worth it? Also, how easy are they to install? I just ordered a pair of the chrome tips for my exhaust so I'm looking forward to putting those on. Thanks dmlonghorn for the pics of your new tips btw.

Not a problem. You're going to like the chrome exhaust.

I'll be buying the clear package pretty soon too and plan on installing them myself. Bavauto has instructions on how to install them , as well as the bmw manual...

I think they're certainly worth it... just take a look at some of the pics these guys have on here... looks real crisp.

If you get'em, do some before and after pics... and let me know how the install went.

Check how much it costs compared to OEM like at pacificbmw or circlebmw. I'd feel much more comfortable with the real thing. One of the reasons why I felt the $1000 Sport Package was totally worth it.

The BavAuto sedan clears are OEM. (I got them about a year and a half ago.) For the facelifted sedans (i.e. 02-04's), you can't buy them at any U.S. dealers like pacific or circle. You have to go to a company who imports them such as BavAuto, Bekkers, or Maximillian.

I agree that this is a significant value that comes with the Sport Package, but that only applies to the coupes. For the facelifted sedans, you have to go to one of the above three vendors (if you want OEM, that is).

02+ E46 sedans are "facelifted". The facelifted sedans have about half a dozen or so minor updates to the previous years' E46's, including different lighting assemblies in the rear, sides, and front corners.

I bought clear lenses for my 2003 330i from Maximillian and they're great. They look awesome and were easy to install. How much were your chrome exhaust tips? I'm looking for a pair of those.

Yeah... I was told by the dealership that they're different, and you cannot use the 03' ones on an 04' model.

are you saying that the 03's have different lights than the 04's?

So i need to sell it now. Email me @ IHAVESKEELOZ@AOL.COM to inquire about them. They are brand new and i will send picture if needed. (BUT ITS THE SAME ONE BAVARIAN is showing on their website.
