I have a 2003 325i with Sport Package, Leather, HK, and 5 speed tranny. The vehicle has almost 40,000 miles. It seems that the clutch does not take up very smoothly when the car is cold. It kinda slips and stutters. Should I take it in to the dealer or just not worry about it? At what mileage do I need to replace the clutch?

That would be unusally fast wear, but that all depends on how you drive it. Do you rest your foot on the pedal etc. I would take it to the dealer it should not slip or stutter at that mileage. I got over 160k out of my 318is' clutch.
