comfort NOT brakes

I have driven my new e90 for 600 miles and I can't get it to come to a traditional stop like I did my old 02. No matter how hard I try it comes to a herky-jerky stop. I think it is either the brakes being over modulated or the comfort stop feature is just making things worse. It also might be an imperfect brake rotor.
Anybody have any thoughts??

Same here...

I have the same problem... but i wouldnt consider it a problem really. its because when u brake from 50 - 0 it stays in second gear a lil longer and when u get very close to 0 it shifts to first gear then makes u roll more which then u must apply even greater force on the brakes and then thats when u get the "jerky" stop. its just a transmission thing. i guess the comfort stop isnt so comforting :(

Thanks for the reply but I must say that my problem is definitely not connected to any transmission down shifting. Instead it does this even when crawling from a dead stop when just trying to inch-up at a traffic light or in to my garage. I've tried everything I know and I still think the brakes are overly grippy for normal stopping. It may also be that the car has a strong creep to it when it is in drive because the problem seems to lessen if I shift it into neutral just a split second before it comes to a complete stop.

perhaps give the pads a bit more time to bed with the rotors
depending on what type of driving u did that 600 miles in they
may not be bedded correctly

after that ask the dealer to go ahead and get you new pads and
rotors...
