OK so I stopped by the local dealership on Friday and inquired about the computer controlled features. The service guy gave me a list of features that could be enabled. As for the parking lights confermation and "clown nose" enable he stated that "You MUST have the OEM security system for these features to work!". So I scheduled to have a couple of things changes to suit my desires for Saturday, but talked with a different guy who wrote up the service ticket. I told him that even though I didn't have the OEM security system installed, I would like some way of knowing that the car has locked the doors or when they have been unlocked. So they did and I from what I have read, now I can buy the OEM security system and install it and it should work! Yea!
