I was told that you can configure different options for each driver without going to the dealership. My friend said a guy showed him how to set the door locks up to auto lock once the car got to 5 mph and the he showed him how to make the park light to blink when you lock the doors with the remote. Is there anyone out ther who knows how to configure these or any other options?

Interesting........my salesman already had these features programmed when I picked up my car.........but I would like to see what other options are available to do yourself....

Thanks for the list, Code, it was interesting. I also have the Clown Nose and blinking light (lock/unlock) programmed, I guess my salesman did pretty good........since I have a tracking system, I didnt feel I needed the spend the money on an alarm.

What I wish I could figure out is how to keep the windshield from fogging up at night with the top down. No matter what I set it on, it looks like fog blowing in the wind on the windshield. Even the dealership ideas havent helped.......I know I know, turn off the air conditioner, but here in Texas it is still pretty hot at night......

Thanks again for the list.[driving]

Thank-you so much that list was awesome. I only wonder what the dealer is going to charge to configure the settings?

I've successfully configured the keys so that when I unlock the door with my key it moves the driver seat and side mirrors to my preferred settings, and when my wife unlocks the door with her key it moves everything to her preferred settings. I got this to work without the dealer do anything.

I was afraid someone would ask. It was actually a little tricky...had to get things done in the right sequence.
1) Started the car with my key then set the seat and mirrors to my preferences.
2) Push the memory button (light goes on), then push button #1 (light goes off)
3) Turn the car off, get out and LOCK THE DOOR MANUALLY, not with the remote.
4) Opened the door with my remote, then started the process over.
5) Wife got in, started the car with her key, set the seats and mirrors
6) Push the memory button, then button #2
7) Turn off the car, LOCK THE DOOR MANUALLY WITH 2nd KEY.

Now either of us can unlock the door remotely and it works. Note that at any time you can stlll push the button #1 or #2 to change to the position you want (for example if she's using my key for some reason). I think I got this right, good luck.
