conversion: power windows to manual window regulators?

can i do this little conversion..? i want to take out the power window regulators and swap them out with manual window regulators with the crank handles. they sell the manual window regulators for my car on bevauto

im just going to buy these left and right manual window regulators from bevauto

Its not too hard at all - some of the early e30's even had a plastic bung over the winder hole in the door card - they were just manuals converted to electric.

The thing is though, no electrical problem now or in the future is ever likely to be as much work as a full electric to manual conversion. The worst I've ever had was both a motor and relay go and taking the motor out is less work than removing the entire regulator and converting to manual.

They are lighter though and a few mates have done the conversion for their track cars.
