My 95 BMW 325ic convertible has trouble getting the top folded down. It was working fine when I bought it 1 week back and it failed as soon as I tried to impress my girlfriend.
I opened the latch, push up the front a little, then I pressed the button, the window drop down a little, the lid opens, rear window drops down, and then it stops. It won't pull it the rest of the way down. I try push up on the front a little again and it does not want to move. Finally I pulled the red emergency latch under the back seat and mannually opened the top.
I know I have to go to the dealer to get it fixed but was wondering why did it get stuck in the first place. I was in park with hand brake on. ;-(

... saved a tip to the dealer and i tried it again and again and it seems to be working fine for now.. will try tugging it again if it does not work
