im going to get a 1999 323i with 45k and i wanted to know how much would it cost a year to take care of this car. like oil changes, lights ect.

that's a terrible question to ask

it depends ENTIRELY on how often and how hard you drive it
will you follow a good maintence schedule? if not then it'll cost
a ton to maintain it.

oil changes are done under warranty.

If you take it to a BMW dealer, its about $100 with full synthetic and $60 or so petroleum based. Like Martin says, it depends on how much you drive and how often you change your oil.

welcome friend, i agree with the above said, i think there is a big service done at 60k, but i can't remember. other than that if it has good service records it shouldn't be outrageous.

Costs also depend on where you are. Here in Oklahoma I only pay $65 for a synthetic oil change and $45 for mineral.
