couple questions

so im a big newbie and ive never removed my car stereo before. I have a 2004 325i and I want to hook up an ipod adapter to the stereo. Apparently it plugs into where the cd changer port is in the trunk, but I'd rather hook it up in front. If anyone has a guide to removing the stock stereo or knows if there is a port in the back at all please help!

If it hooks up to where the preset CD changer is, the only thing you can do is hook it up from the back. I wanted to see if I could hook my USA Spec Ipod Adapter from the stereo itself, but once I took out the stereo, I noticed I couldn't do it. The USA Spec Ipod Adapter came with an extra long cable, so I just ran that cable underneath the floor panel into my glovebox after plugging it into the rear CD changer.
