CPO on 325XI?
Happy Holidays to everyone!
I am approaching 38K miles on my 2004 325XI, and I know that the warranty will expire at 50K. I am beginning to think about what I want to do. Although the new E90 looks very nice and I'd love to have one ... I wonder whether from a cost perspective whether I'd be better off having my car CPOed and keeping it for another couple of years.
Can someone either provide me with (or point me to) an overview of exactly what CPO means, approx. how much it would cost, and what the CPO warranty would cover as compared to the warranty that comes with the car when it is new? I assume that maintenance would not be covered. And I've been told that even simple things like oil changes and brake pads are very very expensive on BMWs. So ... is it worth consideration of CPO? Does anyone have any experience doing this? Can you speak to the approximate annual maintenance/repair costs that one incurs under CPO?
Thanks!
Larry
