crazy seat question

I'm a new owner of a 325xi with standard seats in leatherette. I just got the car Tuesday (and man I love it!) but I have a weird problem - it seems there is a 'lump' of sorts in the seat, directly under, you guessed it, my arse-hole. Feels like I've got something pressing right directly in my sphincter.

Anybody else experience this, or do I just have an anatomically incorrect butt?

Perhaps this is just the German way of keeping me in the seat around the corners....

I think it's part of the seat that holds you in place. Try sliding back or forth in the seat, adjusting your position. It should be padding your thighs, not your ass !! [fake]

The seats should have no lumps whatsoever in the area where your arse cheeks sit. I don't have leatherette, but that's just a covering, the underneath is the same, leather or leatherette. In fact, none of my BMW seats have any lumps anywhere (X5 and 330Ci, front or rear). There is no "custom" form for your thighs or butt. The seat should be flat and firm with no lumps.

You have an issue for the dealer I think.

now that is the weirdest problem i ever heard of. i am sure a certain group of owners would highly appreciate that. and i am talking all sexes.

seriously, i think that your seat has a problem and you should have a dealer check it out.
