Crickets....

So I have this noise coming from the rear of my car when I go over bumpy terrain that sounds like crickets. I took it to get it looked at and they said it was my rear upper shock mounts. I said, OK...sounds good, fix away. Surprise, it isn't gone.

Secondly, I have another "rattling noise" that seems to come from behind my rear speakers and in the front in the door. When I push down on the side arm rest, it seems to subside, but never goes away.

Anyone else had these problems and if not, any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks guys/gals.

Don't really know about structural based rattles, but the interior's of E46's tend to get a little noisy over time as things loosen up. Speaker rattles and window rattles over bumps are very common. As far as a fix goes, try listening to the radio very loudly, works for me =P
