Hi all,

My otherwise black dash on my 330ci 2006 beauty has an annoying tan strip that reflects the sun in both the front and rear. I was wondering if others have this problem and if so have they done anything to deal with it? I don't want to put on a cheap cover, and, my upholsterer just gave me an estimate of $200-300 to spray paint those places. (To upholtster in leather would be even more, like, $800-- okay, that was just an over the phone quickie... but still... this is worth-homework-territory.)

Just curious. I think it's dangerous to drive when the sun hits and i get all that refection there, it gets hard to see.

thanks, Patti

this is how i clean my dashboard to keep from havin the glare/reflection.
1. jus wipe it clean with a damp cloth to remove the dust/dirt
2.spray leather dressing in a clean rag and wipe the dashboard again.

doin this enough times with every wash at a certain point all u will have to do is jus wipe clean the dust off the dash w/o havin to dress it all the time.
hope this works for you [drinking]

Wow~

Thanks,,, this you paint over tan?

also... i have been thinking to tint the windows... but, even that is only a partial solution.

have you tried painting black over tan? wouldn't want it to look cheap.

best, patti

Buy a pair of POLARIZED sunglasses. All reflections from the inside of your glass will be eliminated. No joke.

Last time I was at WalMart, they had a cheapo pair for $9.97. Give 'em a try; you'll never go back.
