Hello again..

As you can see there is a nice little dent on my hood. This was there when I purchased the car. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to fixing it.

Is the placement of the dent going to cause problems in getting it fixed?

Does it look like something that can be just popped out?

I'm looking for the easiest, most inexpensive solution out there... thoughts?

Call a mobile service, they're going to be a lot cheaper than a body shop. Most can tell you wither they can fix it before they start.

That still remains the best pic I've ever seen on this board!

That looks pretty nasty. Since it's creased, I don't think the mobile dent guys will be able to help. I think you're looking at body work. I hope I am wrong.

If there is no crack in the paint job then it can be popped out.

I would advise not going to the dealer to get it fixed...did you get your car from Momentum BMW?? I got mine removed from them since I bought my vehicle there and it cost me $85 :(

Next time I'm just gonna go to a cheaper place because after paintless dent removal is paintless dent removal when you get down to it. However, if the cost is only a little less than $85-90, I would just go to the dealer's guy since he knows what he's doing especially with BMWs.

P.S. - hope you get it worked out, I know those dents/dings hurt me alot!!!

The fact that the dent intersects the fold where the grill is, will make it difficult or impossible to remove completely with a "dent wizard" type of fix. At least that is what I found out when I had a similar ding on another car. My ding intersected with the fuel filler area. The dent place was willing to try to make it better but was near 100% sure that it could not be made perfect. I decided to skip it and ended up selling the car where the ding made no difference in the selling price!!!
