Yes, I notice a real seat-of-the-pants difference in power due to the saved weight with my plasticized dipstick.....
But really.....the plastic end I think holds the oil on it better than a metal one. The oil sticks to it so it is easier to read. At least that's my observation....
And Wadula......it is the BOTTOM end that is plastic (do all Germans have this reversed??
).....and it is "SAVE weight" not "safe weight"!!!
I may have to lock you up in Colonel Klink's cooler, der Kommodant!!!!
