Display settings reset after battery disconnected

Hey Guys !!

My ride (2001 325 Ci) got into a little accident recently and when it came back from th repair shop, my Sat Nav screen setting had changed. My only guess is that the battery was disconnected which reset the settings. But the font has changed as well, and it looks shockingly c**p !!

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to change the display font back to my original settings ??

Any suggestions greatly appreciated !!

Does the Nav still work?

Sounds to me as though either :

1) The Nav computer has crashed and the display is now using the backup software.
2) They downgraded the software in the Nav computer to V17.1 or lower
3) They swapped out the Nav computer for one with older software.

I havent checked if the Nav works properly. As far as I know, the font of the text has just change to a teletext/ pixelly style writing !!
But am gonna have to take it the garage for them to have a look at it, al ask em about ur suggestions.
