DIY silver turn signal bulbs

Hey everyone. Just wanted to tell you that I painted my turn signal bulbs with some high-temp silver paint. It looks much better and totally eliminated the "egg yolk effect" that you get at certain angles. The bulbs scratched a little when putting them back in but you can't tell. They still blink bright and amber. I think the can of paint was $6 at Lowe's. Sorry, no pics. If this "egg yolk effect" bothers you and you can't see spending $60 on Silvervisions, then give this a shot. It has worked great for me.

Does anyone know where you can get clear front reflectors for an '04 coupe?

do you know what kinda paint it is? like transparent or something? sounds interesting, i actually bought a pair of hyper white silver vision bulbs, and the brightness suck...

It's Rustoleum High Heat Silver paint. Just spray a light coat enough to cover the orange. I cannot tell a difference in the brightness.

I just did the same thing. works great and looks better!
