Do automatic BMWs have guibo?

Do automatic BMWs have guibo?

I drive an automatic 318i 1988 UK model.

I have had problems with clunking noise at low speeds when accelarating.

Could it be the guibo=flex disc=driveshaft coupling

My 1989 325iA has a flex disc. I replaced mine at about 80K miles. You can usually tell if it is bad because they crack and get brittle from age. My previous 1985 318iA also had a flex disc.
