Door hard to open

I have a 2000 323CI 180k miles. I believe drivers outer door latch is getting worn out. Hard to open from outside. No problem fron inside. Has anyone had to have theirs adjusted or replaced. If so where did you have it done (if other than dealer)? How complicated would it be to DIY. thanks

Yet another common issue with the coupes. Had ours fixed by the dealer under warranty so not sure about price etc. sorry!

Yup, just had mine adjusted under warranty, so I can't tell you what they charged, but it was just an adjustment and it works like a champ now.
