door locking

i have a 1994 318is and sometimes it locks the drivers door and i have to roll my window down and turn the key in the door and pull the handle at the same time ive checked all the fuses and even unplugged the wiring harness from the lock and it still happens any ideas as to what it could be?

CHECK YOUR ACTUATOR HAD TO REPLACE BOTH DOORS. I HAD TO OPEN DOORS WITH KEYS
