DSC/EML/brake light

The DSC, yellow brake light, yellow service engine soon light, and EML are all lit on my 2001 325. The car drives exactly the same as it did without these warning lights on, except for one thing. It now drives with a large reduction in power when accerating. I feel this is due in part to the EML light is indicating, which is something with which I am not familiar. If anybody could share with me what this is that I am experiencing, I would appreciate it.

From my past experience, if you have the service engine soon or check engine light on, you will find a reduced amount of power when accelerating. I think BMW did that so you wouldn't cause further damage to something that has to be checked out. Once you get your light reset, everything will be back to normal, power wise that is.
