e46 help !!!!!!

hi anyone have an idea how to remove the gear knob from my e46 have tried twisting but it wont budge

Don't pull it toward your face, which is hard not to do. Otherwise you will end up looking like a hockey player........

Yeah,change mine once,it was hell to get off. Just pull real hard in the upward direction,no twisting.

Open your moonroof, put the lever in the Neutral position or Drive. Then just pull like a mofo and make sure you don't pop yourself in the face like everyone else said.

Why open the moonroof?

I envision someone standing with the knob between their legs, their head slightly coming out of the roof and then pulling with both hands.
