e46 repair manuals on CD

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone bought the repair manuals for our E46s on CD??? There is a set on Ebay, that is 4CDS, and covers over 1000+ pages of repairs, maintenance and "how tos"

I am so not the mechanic, but there are times when you want to take a door panel off, or a windshiled pillar because there is a rattle or squeak. Would be kind of cool to DIY...and save the agony and valium popping needed to make a service visit.

With the CDs, it also shows how to reset computers and basic diagnostics.

I have seen what you are talking about. For only $19.99 for the set, it sounds too good to be true. Plus reading the description at the bottom, it just sounds fishy. But then again for $20, what have you got to lose?

A lot of the stuff being sold on EBay only covers up to 2001 - 2002 or so. Read carefully. A lot of the info is the same for the newest model years, but some of it isn't......

The CD version might be cool for doing searches. But sometimes I need my manual open and right there with the car so that I can compare the pictures and follow the directions. I would hate to have to deal with my laptop in the garage.
