I'm planning to buy a used E46 M3 cabriolet ACS AC Schnitzer suspension from my friend. Can this suspension set be used on my 2004 model 325ci? Do the swaybars of the non-M cars attach the same as the M cars? He is selling 4 springs, 2 struts and 2 shocks to me?? His car has had 26k miles (mainly highway miles) So, the whole set will lower my car by about 1". He is selling it to me for about $800. Is it worth the buck??
Thanks for answering my questoin.

I really haven't read of any switch-overs from M3s to e46 on the suspension. I'm rather sure it can be done but you may need more than what he is offering, like trailing arms, etc.

thank you for answering my question,
If I need to but trailing arms and other stuff to suit the suspension into place, does anyone know how much that would cost? If there is other people who know if the m3 suspension can be used on a e46 325ci, PLEASE HELP ME.

I can't answer your question, but if you need to upgrade your trailing arms, you are going to be looking at some serious $$. It costs upwards of $460 for replacement trailing arms for my old '87, and they are just stamped steel pieces. I'd hate to know how much it would cost for E46 M3 aluminum trailing arms!

Justin,
Thx for your reply, if i need to change trailing arms for my car, then I will not buy the suspension. I better gather more information before buying it.
