Hi everyone,

I have an '03 325i titanium silver 4d. I want to change the trunk lip that is black plastic not to a silver one to match my car color? Can i buy from bmw or do i have to buy after market part. Do 330i or coupes trunk lip fit on my car? Not trunk lip spoiler just where you open the trunk. Thanks for the replies

any sedan lip will fit it. I don't think coupe ones will as I heard that all of the panels on the sedan and coupe are completely different. could you just get your black one sprayed in the same colour?

I believe Bavarian Auto sells them pre-painted, which is
a big plus.

Sounds like someone bought one for your car, and didn't
realize it needs to be painted?

Here's the Bavarian Auto info:

Our pre-painted spoiler takes the hassle out of adding aero to your BMW. No waiting for the body shop to paint it, or wondering if they have the right paint. We can match any factory color because we use the same Sikkens brand paint used by BMW dealers.

Part Number: BAS 01039
Description: Bavarian Autosport Pre-Painted Rear Lip Spoiler
Price: $299.95

A bit pricey, though. It may be cheaper to have your existing
lip painted to match.

Ah, missed that part.

Just take it off (probably a few screws) and bring it to a
reputable auto body shop who work with BMWs.

Probably run $50 to get it painted.

Or, since it's such a small part, you can probably buy a
can of touch-up spray paint from the BMW dealer, and
just paint it yourself (remember to prime the plastic first
with the appropriate plastic primer so the paint sticks).

tran330cic, I made the same mistake at first.

It seems he's looking for the piece above the licene plate, and
not the trunk spoiler.
